Library Obscura

The project is a library with an unexpected program that was to juxtapose the environment. 

The Camera Obscura provides unique challenges as it needs a certain amount of light for the projections.

The form for the spaces is inspired by old cameras. The projections come off the core, while the tower is lighted by a lightwell. Spaces are not connected but intertwined so that there are a variety of areas as the user circulates through the library. Users are provided with unique experiences and a change of what a library can be and how it can interact with others.
